- my goal was to get control of my relationship with food
- trying to stick to the Keto diet was making me gain weight
- I’m no longer ravenous and eating everything in sight while cooking dinner
Now I’m in control of my relationship with food
After years of dieting I read Kelly’s thought-provoking book. Not only has it helped me normalize my relationship with food, I feel like I’m role modelling healthy choices for my daughters. Kelly’s book helped me stop fasting, put milk in my coffee (yay!) and exercise less.

How do I get control of my relationship with food?
I'd follow the Keto diet for a while. But I just couldn't stick to it.— Holly, TeacherAfter years of trying different diets I went on the Keto diet.
I’d follow it the best I could for a while. But I just couldn’t stick to it.
This gave me extreme anxiety.
Especially when I realized I was gaining weight.
Getting control of my relationship with food
Kelly's book helped me see why it's important that I stop fasting— Holly, TeacherSo when I came across Kelly’s book, I ordered it.
“It took me 10 years to lose 10 pounds” made so much sense!
Right away I stopped fasting.
And I brought breakfast back into my life.
I even put milk in my coffee now!
The best part about getting control of my relationship with food
I'm no longer ravenous and eating everything in sight while cooking dinner— Holly, TeacherThe thing that I’m most excited about, and the BIGGEST difference I’ve noticed, is that I am no longer ravenous.
Like when I’m cooking dinner, I’m not eating everything in sight.
It’s such a freeing feeling to be in control around food.
Exercising less has helped me get control of my relationship with food
I stopped going to the gym every day and I have ZERO guilt— Holly, TeacherThis book breaks down why you can lose weight without exercising every day.
In fact, you shouldn’t be going to the gym every day!
Kelly explains this so clearly it was easy for me to cut back without feeling guilty.
Read Kelly’s book so you can role model for your daughter
“It took me 10 years to lose 10 pounds” was really thought provoking.
If you have your own kids you need to read this book— Holly, Teacher
If you have your own kids you need to read this book so you can clear all the diet garbage out of your head and teach your kids about food.
A healthy body happens naturally when you eat and exercise in a healthy way.
No more diets!
How would you rate the book out of 5 stars?
The only reason I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5 is because I just find it hard to make the “leap of faith” that I can eat as many carbs as Kelly says I can, and lose weight. Watch this spot!
